Summer Dance Camps 2022
The Lisa Mennilli Dance Academy is pleased to present to you our dance camp offerings for the Summer of 2022.

We are offering 3 different types of camps this summer organized by age and/or dance level. Please refer to the details below for each camp to understand what we offer.
*We also offer a Summer Camp Referral Program specific to our camps! If you refer another dancer to our dance camp and they register and attend class, you get $25 off dance camp tuition for every student you refer to us!*

The Enchanted World of Glitter, Shimmer and Sparkle: Princess and Fairy Dance Camp: Ages 3-6
Dates: July 25-29 and August 1-5
Time: 9:30am-12:30 pm
Follow the path of sparkles and glitter to become the princess or fairies of your dreams! Here you will not only learn how to be like a princess or fairy, but learn how to dance, dress, and act like one at all times. Unleash the inner royalty and beauty within you on a fun, and magical adventure that you will never forget!
Snacks provided.

Dance Classes divided according to age group:
3-4 Year Olds: Sparkling Rainbows
5-6 Year Olds: Glimmering Unicorns

Cost: $100 for one week session
​
Create Your Own Dance Crew: Tiktok, Youtube, and Music Video Dance: Ages 7-11
Dates: August 1-5
Time: 9:00 am- 2:00 pm
Study with professionally trained dance choreographers in all genres of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, leap/stretch/turn, technique class, acro, lyrical, street jazz, musical theatre, and much more. (All Social Media involvement will be through LMDA social media accounts; private accounts are not accepted).

Get to know you/Icebreakers in the morning

Classes will focus on strength, flexibility, and proper technique.

Create your own TikTok Dances: Freestyle/Showcase Opportunities

Learn how to work as a team creating dance pieces found in music videos

Learn musical theatre pieces to famous broadway show-tunes.

New York City Comes to Connecticut Professional Dancer Intensive: Ages 12+
Dates:July 1-5
Time: 9:30 am- 2:00 pm
​
Study with professionally trained dance choreographers in all genres of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, leap/stretch/turn, technique class, acro, lyrical, street jazz, musical theatre, and much more.
Classes are structured for the series dancer.
Includes specific focus in strength training, strong technique classes, combos, and much more...
